July 21, 7pm — Summer Series — Adam Boyce will kickoff Peacham Library’s Summer Series–Traditional Music: One Community, Many Voices–with a talk titled “Sprightly Steps:Vermont’s Contra and Square Dancing Tradition.”  The talk on Thursday, July 21 at 7pm is sponsored by the Vermont Humanities Council and Peacham Library. 

All week – Cover the world with your reading – The Peacham Library map is sprouting dots reflecting the reading of our patrons!  Help cover the world by placing dots on our world (and other worldly) map to see where our books take us during this year’s summer reading program – One World, Many Stories.

 Friday, July 22, 10am – noon – Coffee Hour — Join us for good food and good conversation. All ages are welcome.

Looking ahead

July 28, 7pm — Summer Series — The second Summer Series presentation will feature Linda Waarner and Caribbean Drumming.  Prior to the presentation, at 5:30pm, Linda will offer a drumming workshop for children age 10 and older.  Call or stop by the library to sign up for the workshop.

August 18, 7:15pm — Readers’ Delight Book Discussion – The next Readers’ Delight book will be The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz.  Stop by the library to pick up a copy of the book.
