October 3, 5pm — Board Meeting

October 5, 7pm — Acoustic Music Night — Bring your instrument and join in the NIPs jam session at 7pm.  If you prefer, just drop by to listen or maybe dance a jig or two.  All musicians and listeners are welcome.

October 7, 9 – 10am — Preschool Story Time – Join us for stories, crafts, and occasionally songs.

October 7, 10am – noon — Coffee Hour — Good food, great conversation, and coffee or tea in a family friendly environment

October 8, 6:30– International Observe the Moon Night at Peacham Elementary School and Northern Skies Observatory. — Join us for moon related activities sponsored by Peacham Library, Peacham Elementary School and Northeast Kingdom Astronomy Foundation.  There will be moon related activities, a talk by Bobby Farlice-Rubio, and, of course, time to look at the moon with binoculars the library received from the Lunar and Planetary Institute through NASA funding.  The binoculars as well as a tripod, books, and a mini-moon globe will be available soon for checkout at Peacham Library.

October 20, 7:00pm – Readers’ Delight —   Our next book will be Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Hurston. Contact the library if you need a copy.
