January 2, 7pmBoard Meeting

January 6, 9am — Preschool Story Time— a time for stories, a craft and an occasional song or finger play.  Be sure to stay for the family friendly coffee hour at 10.

January 6, 10 – noon— Coffee Hour— join us for coffee, tea and sweets and a chance to talk with friends and neighbors.

January 7, 7pm — Coffee House — Alan Greenleaf, who writes and sings songs inspired by life on his Peacham farm and the people and countryside around him, will be our headliner.   We’ll open the mike at 8 to all who would like a chance to perform for a short set.  Coffee, tea and cider as well as light refreshments will be available.  There is a suggested donation, with proceeds to benefit the library.

Looking Ahead

January 9, 7pm, Tech Monday, a program to teach you how to make the most of technology.  We’ll start with ereaders, iPads and mp3 players.  Bring your device and learn how to use it to download free books from ListenUpVermont.

January 10, 4pm, Literary Youth, a book discussion for people who want to discuss books for and with children and young adults.  We will be comparing Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Jody Feldman’s Gollywhopper Games.  Contact the library if you would like to borrow a copy of either book.

January 11, 7pm, Game Night! 

January 13, 10am – noon, Coffee Hour

January 17, 1:15, Tuesday Theatre

January 19, 7pm, Readers’ Delight — will be discussing Palace Walk by Naguib Mahfouz.  The next book will be Maus by Art Spiegelman.  Contact the library if you would like to borrow a copy of either book.

January 20, 9am, Preschool Story Time

January 20, 6:30, Family Theatre
