This week at the Library — January 8, 2012

January 9, 7pm, Tech Monday — A program to teach you how to make the most of technology.  We’ll start with e-Readers, iPads and mp3 players.  Bring your device and learn how to use it to download free books from ListenUp! Vermont.

January 10, 4pm, Literary Youth — A book discussion for people who want to discuss books for and with children and young adults.  We will be comparing Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Jody Feldman’s Gollywhopper Games.  Contact the library if you would like to borrow a copy of either book.

January 11, 7pm, Game Night! —This is an evening to share your favorite games with friends and neighbors.  Games the last two months have included Dominion, Clue, Scrabble, Go, Rummikub and Pictureka!

January 13, 10am – noon, Coffee Hour — Join us for a cup of coffee or tea, a sweet or two and good conversation.  Suitable for all ages!

Looking Ahead

January 17, 1:15, Tuesday Theatre will screen a movie about two women (Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet) who exchange houses for The Holiday.  Free popcorn and cider!

January 19, 7pm, Readers’ Delight — will be discussing Palace Walk by Naguib Mahfouz.  The next book will be Maus by Art Spiegelman.  Contact the library if you would like to borrow a copy of either book.

January 20, 9am, Preschool Story Time

January 20, 10am – noon, Coffee Hour
