This week at the library — March 4, 2012

March 5, 7pm, Board Meeting

March 6, Town Meeting, the library will open after the conclusion of the meeting should the meeting extend beyond 1pm.  The library is thankful to all our patrons and to the Town of Peacham voters for your support and look forward to welcoming you at the library after the meeting.

March 9, 10am – noon, Coffee Hour — Join us for a cup of coffee or tea, a sweet or two and good conversation.  Suitable for all ages!

Looking Ahead

March 12, 7pm, Tech Monday, Join us as we discuss Vermont Online Library, an online collection of searchable periodicals, online biographies, business databases and other information.  There are also sections for students, career transitions and learning a foreign language.  Bring your laptop or use one of our computers.

March 14, 7pm, Game Night

March 15, 7pm, Readers’ Delight, Abraham: A Journey to the Heart of Three Faiths by Bruce Feiler.  Contact the library if you would like to borrow a copy.

March 16, 9am, Preschool Story Time

March 16, 10am – noon, Coffee Hour

March 20 , 1:15pm, Tuesday Theatre presents a movie based on Moneyball by Michael Lewis.  Brad Pitt stars as Billy Beane.

March 27, 4pm, Literary Youth, a book discussion group for all ages will be discussing Hitty, Her First Hundred Years by Rachel Field and The Miraculour Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo on Tuesday, March 27th at 4pm.  Contact the library if you would like to borrow a copy of either book.
