Dream Big Read! Summer Reading Program  Drop by the library after sign up for programs throughout the summer.

June 29, 10am – noon, Coffee Hour – Join us for a cup of coffee or tea, a sweet or two and good conversation.  Suitable for all ages!

Looking Ahead

July 4, 11am – 3pm, Book Sale

July 4, 12:30pm – 2:00pm, Gary Schoolcraft on hand to sell and sign copies of his book When Kids Were Allowed to be Kids, Volume 1.  Proceeds from the sale of the books at the library will benefit the library.

July 6, 10am–noon, Coffee Hour

July 9, 6:30pm, 202nd Annual meeting, with Howard Frank Mosher, guest speaker.

July 15, 4 – 6pm, Artist Reception for Hertha Forrai.

July 16 – 18, 9:30am – 11:00, Dream Big! Read Summer Reading “Camp” for children in Kindergarten to 4th grade (and beyond).  Sign up at the library for three mornings of books, crafts and a bit of science.

July 16 & 23,  7pm, Own The Night – Teen Night, an evening just for teens. will it be a movie, games, tie-die t-shirts, or something else?  Sign up at the library and let the librarian know what you’d like to do!

July 19, 5pm, Introduction to Yoga, led by Peacham resident and certified yoga instructor, Karen Gallas.  Six sessions will be offered for a total of $30, with all the proceeds benefitting the library.  Sign up and pay at the library.

July 26, 7pm, The Peacham Film Festival, a series of six movies filmed in Peacham.  The movies range from a Disney musical to a thriller, from movies based on books, and to one set in Gilead, Maine.  There will be people on hand who “were there” and can tell you about their experiences with the crew and making a movie.
