Dream Big Read! Summer Reading Program  Drop by the library after sign up for programs throughout the summer.

July 9, 6:30pm, 202nd Annual meeting, Howard Frank Mosher will present “The Great American Book Tour,” a talk about his recent cross country journey and his new book.  This program is free and open to the public and is co-sponsored by Passumpsic Savings Bank.

July 13, 10am – noon, Coffee Hour – Join us for a cup of coffee or tea, a sweet or two and good conversation.  Suitable for all ages!

July 15, 4 – 6pm, Artist Reception for Hertha Forrai (currently on display in the Gilmore Gallery)

Looking Ahead

July 16 – 18, 9:30am – 11:00am, Dream Big! Read, Summer Reading Program “Camp” for children in Kindergarten to 4th grade (and beyond!).

July 16, 7pm, Own The Night, Teen Program, sign up at the library and voice your opinion on activities.

July 17, 1:15pm, Tuesday Theatre presents a movie based on Nicholas Sparks’ book “The Notebook.”  Allie (Rachel McAdams) and Noah (Ryan Gosling) meet as teenagers only to be separated by her parents.  As might be expected, they meet again later in life and now must choose – soul mate or social class. The movie is rated PG.

July 17, 7pm, Game Night, NEW NIGHT!

July 19, 7pm, Readers’ Delight, discussing Birds Without Wings by Louis DeBerniers.

July 19, 5pm, Yoga, first of six sessions.  Details below.

July 20, 9am, Preschool Story Time

July 20 10am–noon, Coffee Hour

Upmcoming Multi-week Events

Interested in learning yoga?  Want to support Peacham Library?  Then sign up for a six session yoga class with Karen Gallas.  Classes will be on Thursdays at 5pm from July 19 to August 23 at the library.  Stop by the library to sign and pay your $30.

Mark your calendars now for the Peacham Film Festival!  Peacham Library is proud to present a series of six movies filmed in Peacham Thursdays at 7pm starting July 26.  The films range from a family friendly Disney movie, to a thriller, to movies based on books, to a movie about a town in Maine!  Each screening will have people who “were there” and will talk about the filming process and behind the scenes stories.  For more details contact the library.
