August 15, 7pm, Readers’ Delight, Birds without Wings, part 2.  The September book will be Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress, by Dai Sijie.  Stop by the library to pick up a copy.

August 16, 5pm, Introduction to Yoga — Contact the library to confirm

August 16, 7pm, Peacham Film Festival – Edith Wharton’s book Ethan Frome comes alive in this PG rated film starring Liam Neesan. There will be three more films on Thursdays at 7pm. POSTPONED from August 9 due to power outage.

August 17, 10am – noon, Coffee Hour – Join us for a cup of coffee or tea, a sweet or two and good conversation.  Suitable for all ages!

August 18, 11am – 6pm, Friends of Peacham Library will be selling ice cream at PAMFest.  Support the Friends and the library while enjoying a cool treat.

Looking Ahead

August 21, 1:15pm, Tuesday Theatre presents an action packed movie about a tourist, starring Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie.  Rated PG-13.

August 21, 7pm, Game Night!  Enjoy an evening of games in the naturally air conditioned comfort of the library.  Bring your own or play one of the library’s.

August 23, 5pm, Introduction to Yoga session four; class is filled.

August 23, 7pm, Peacham Film Festival – Rescheduled from August 16. Michael Fox, Rip Torn and Tantoo Cardinal star in this PG-13 rated adaptation of Howard Frank Mosher’s book Where the Rivers Flow North, produced by Kingdom County Productions. There will be two more films on Thursdays at 7pm.
