This week at the library — August 26, 2012

August 30, 5pm–Introduction to Yoga session five; class is filled.

August 30, 7pm, Peacham Film Festival – Rescheduled from August 23.  Peacham becomes Gilead, Maine in this film, starring Ellen Burstyn, about a small town down on its luck.  The film was produced by Warner Brothers and is rated PG-13. There will be one more film next Thursday at 7pm.

August 30, 10am – noon, Coffee Hour – Join us for a cup of coffee or tea, a sweet or two and good conversation.  Suitable for all ages!

September 6, 5pm, Introduction to Yoga session six; class is filled.

September 6, 7pm, Peacham Film Festival – Rescheduled from August 30.  Kris Kristofferson stars in this Jay Craven (Kingdom County Productions) directed adaptation of Howard Frank Mosher’s book, Disappearances. Rated PG-13.

September 7, 10am – noon, Coffee Hour

Of Interest

Mark your calendars and start building up your stamina for the Biking For Books ride on September 29th.  There will be a great 10 mile route for newbies, a longer 28 mile ride for the more experienced and a possible 50 miler for the truly adventurous.

We’ve had a slew of new donations for the book sale.  Drop by whenever we are open to pick up some great deals on new and gently used books for all ages.
