Assistant Librarian Position

Peacham Library seeks a part-time person to provide library services to the Peacham community commencing October 10, 2012.  The successful candidate for this position will staff the front desk, provide reference and information services, computer support, help maintain the collection, and assist with programs.

Peacham Library is looking for a flexible, friendly candidate with excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, basic familiarity with library services, and a willingness to learn for this 10-hour / week position. A college degree is desirable.  Salary will be commensurate with experience and skills.

Peacham Library is a vital part of the community. The Library provides free access to over 9000 books as well as 800 videos, audio books and other library materials, and makes available four computers for Internet access.
