This week at the library — August 19, 2013

August 19, 5:15pm, Friends of Peacham Library meeting — join the Friends as they plan events that support the efforts of the library to bring the best books and programs to Peacham.

August 20, 1:15 pm, Tuesday Theatre – Victor Hugo’s book, Les Miserables, comes to life as a musical in this 2012 movie.

August 23, 10am-noon, Coffee Hour –  join us for a cup of coffee or tea, a sweet or two and good conversation. Suitable for all ages!

August 26 6:30pm, Peacham Knitters – Bring your knitting or other handwork for an evening of creativity and chatting. New knitters are welcome to come for help and encouragement.

September 2, Labor Day – The library will be closed.

Looking Ahead

August 30, 10am-noon, Coffee Hour –  join us for a cup of coffee or tea, a sweet or two and good conversation. Suitable for all ages!

September 19, 7:15pm, Dr. Josh Health Talk with Readers’ Delight – Dr. Josh Kantrowitz will facilitate a discussion on talking with your doctor using the book How Doctors Think by Jerome Groopman.  Contact the library if you would like to borrow a copy.
