September 22, 4:00 – 6:00pm, Artist’s Reception – Gilmore Gallery presents a collection of black and white portraits by Peacham-based journalist and photographer Sean Markey. Shot in a simple documentary-style, the images capture quiet, intimate moments from a decade of family celebrations of love, birth, and death.  The artist’s reception is your chance to chat with the artist and learn more about his style.  The show is on display through September.

September 23, 6:30pm, Peacham Knitters – Bring your knitting or other handwork for an evening of creativity and chatting. New knitters are welcome to come for help and encouragement.

September 27, 9:00 am, Preschool Story Time – stories, crafts and activities for the young and their parents.

October 1, 2:00pm, Raffle Drawing — It is National Library Card Sign-up Month.  Stop by to sign-up for a library card, or update your current record by September 30th.  Everyone who signs up will receive a raffle ticket making you eligible for our raffle on October 1st.  The prizes include books, food, and more!

October 3, Fall Foliage Day in Peacham — Drop by the library for great deals on used books, puzzles and audios from 9am to 3pm.  While you are here you may wish to also buy the latest Gilmore notecards to support Friends of Peacham Library.  After dinner come over for our annual 6:30pm showing of a movie filmed here in Peacham, including here at the library.
