Looking Ahead

May 19, 5:15pm, Friends of Peacham Library – The Friends organize events and fundraisers in support of the library with funds raised used to support book purchases and programs. Please consider joining the Friends and helping in their efforts.

May 20, 1:15 pm, Tuesday Theatre – Amanda Root and Ciaran Hinds star in this adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic love story of “persuasion.” Anne (Root) and Wentworth (Hinds) are lovers whose passion is thwarted by a scheming socialite, afterall, it wouldn’t be fitting for a rich young woman to marry a seaman with poor family connections. But then, eight years later when Anne’s family is near bankrupt they are thrown together again.
