This week at the library — September 28, 2014

September 29, 6 – 8pm, Puzzling Night – Calling all jigsaw puzzlers! Help us put together Peacham jigsaw puzzles, all 23 of them! Drop in for a few minutes or the evening.

October 2, ALL DAY, Fall Foliage Day in Peacham – The library will be open at 9am and close at 7pm.

October 2, 9am – 4pm, Book Sale – The annual Fall Foliage Book Sale.  Drop by early, drop by often for the best deals on books around.  Books from ten cents on up.  Where else can you find relatively new hard cover books for less than five dollars?  All funds help support the activities of Peacham Library.

October 2, 6:30pm, Free Movie – Peacham becomes Gilead, Maine in this film about a small town down on its luck.The film stars  Ellen Burstyn as the owner of The Spitfire Grill.  The film is rated PG-13.  If you plan to enjoy the Spaghetti Dinner at the church, you will need to go to the first seating in order to be at the movie on time.

October 3, 10am-noon, Coffee Hour –  join us for a cup of coffee or tea, a sweet or two and good conversation. Suitable for all ages!

Looking Ahead

October 7, 7pm, Board Meeting — meetings are open to the public.

October 10, 9:00 am, Preschool Story Time stories and crafts for the young and their caregivers.

October 10, 10am-noon, Coffee Hour –  join us for a cup of coffee or tea, a sweet or two and good conversation. Suitable for all ages!

October 11, 9am – 11am, Celebrate National Spinning and Weaving Week — there will be weaving and braiding activities and maybe a spinner or two so you can try your hand at these great crafts.

October 12, 4 – 6pm, Artist’s Reception — Meet Cecilia Kane, the artist whose work is currently on display in the gallery.
