Looking Ahead

January 20, 1:15 pm, Tuesday Theatre – Romance, life and art history combine in Mona Lisa Smile. Julia Roberts stars as Katherine Watson, a new art history professor at Wellesley College in 1953. Her progressive teaching style isn’t quite what her more conservative students are ready for. Rated PG-13.

January 23, 10am-noon, Coffee Hour –  join us for a cup of coffee or tea, a sweet or two and good conversation. Suitable for all ages!

Of Interest

The library wants to challenge you and your reading!

Throughout the year we’ll post a new area for you to read from. When you read a book that meets the criteria, add a comment to the post. If you can’t wait to see what categories we’ll post, drop by the library to pick up the entire list and to add your books to our bulletin board.

The first challenge: Read a book written by an author who was under 25 or over 65 years of age when they wrote the book.  Add your reads to our bulletin board or to the post on Facebook.
