Planning a staycation?   Check out passes for a week at a time to visit some local parks and museums free or at reduced cost.  The Vermont Park Pass allows up to 8 people (in a single vehicle) to visit a state park as a day user.  The Vermont Historical Sites Pass allows 8 people (in a single vehicle) to visit for free.  The Echo Pass gets up to 4 people a discounted price of $4 to the museum in Burlington.  The Vermont History Museum and Vermont Heritage Galleries pass grants free admission to these locations in Montpelier and Barre.  And for those wanting to go south instead of west, we have a pass for free entrance to the American Precision Museum in Windsor.

We now have a color printer / scanner available for use in the library.  Copies from this printer are $0.50, while black and white copies from the laser printer or the copier are still only $0.20.

Looking for some great audio books?  Check out http://www.audiobooksync.com/ for two new books every week during the summer.  You will need to download the Overdrive app (mobile devices) or program (Windows or Mac) to listen to the books.  But you want Overdrive anyway to download audio and ebooks from ListenUp Vermont!
