February 16, 1:15 pm, Tuesday Theatre – Hellen Hanff’s book 84 Charing Cross Road is brought to life in this award winning Mel Brooks film staring Anne Bancroft and Anthony Hopkins. Bancroft portrays a bibliophile who writes to a small bookseller in London. Hopkins is the man who replies, starting a twenty year romance via the mail.
February 18, 7:00pm, Readers’ Delight – American Nations by Colin Woodard is this month’s book. The March book will be The Volcano Lover by Susan Sontag. Contact the library if you would like to borrow either book.
