June 21, 6:30pm, Community Discussion of Being Mortal by Atul Gawande at St. Johnsbury School — Please join us for both small and large group discussions, a sharing of ideas and experiences, and an opportunity to explore the most important issues that each of us will face as we care not only for our loved ones, but ourselves, during the journey towards end-of- life needs. Facilitated by Dr. Josh Lakin, a colleague of Dr. Gawande, along with Dr. Mary Ready, and Rev. Ann Hockridge.
June 23, 7:00pm, Health Talk with Dr. Josh – Dr. Josh Kantrowitz will facilitate a discussion on child protection services based on the article “Baby Doe: A political history of tragedy” printed in the February 1, 2016 issue of The New Yorker.
