August 16, 1:15pm, Tuesday Theatre – In keeping with Peacham Historical Association’s summer theme of distilling, we present “The Hallelujah Trail” starring Lee Remick as temperance leader Cora Templeton Massingale who is bound and determined to stop a shipment of whiskey protected by the US Calvary lead by Col. Thaddeus Gearhardt (Burt Lancaster).

August 18, 7:00 pm, Readers’ Delight – Continuing the Summer Series theme, this month’s book is The Oregon Trail: A New American Journey by Rinker Buck.  Contact the library if you would like a copy of the book.
