Looking for last minute gifts?  Consider adopting a book with the Holiday Adopt-A-Book program.

  •  Find a book on the list that you’d like to adopt.  All the books are on display at the library.
  •  Tell the Librarian.
  •  You pay for the book.
  •  The Librarian puts a label in the book (if you want).
  •  You get to check the book out first!

This week’s events —

December 20 15, 1:15pm, Tuesday Theatre – “Arthur Christmas”   How does Santa 51-r4griv9l-_ac_us160_deliver all those presents but miss one child?  Santa’s son Arthur comes to the rescue.   Not your usual Tuesday Theatre, but sure to be fun! Rated PG.

December 23, 10 am – noon — Coffee Hour — Join us for a cup of coffee or tea, a sweet or two and good conversation. Suitable for all ages!

December 24, Christmas Eve – CLOSED.

Looking Ahead

December 26, 6:30 pm, Peacham Knitters and Puzzlers – Bring your knitting or other handwork for an evening of creativity and chatting. Or work on the current jigsaw puzzle.

December 30, 10 am – noon — Coffee Hour — Join us for a cup of coffee or tea, a sweet or two and good conversation. Suitable for all ages!

December 31, New Year’s Eve – CLOSED.

January 2, 7:00 pm, Board Meeting – Meetings are open to the public.

January 6, 9:15am, Story Time — Stories and activities for the young at heart, with a guest reader!819fsyosibl-_sy445_

January 6, 6:00pm, Family Theater — “The BFG”  Experience the new Disney interpretation of Roald Dahl’s famous book.  Enjoy some cocoa, popcorn and a great movie.  PJ’s optional.   All children must be accompanied by an adult.  Rated PG.

January 7, 7 – 9pm, Community Coffeehouse — Shake off the winter blues, sit back, relax and enjoy the music at our community coffeehouse.  Katherine Keenan, a budding folk guitarist, will kick off our 2015 season with folk songs from the 60’s to today.   An open mic for those who wish to share their music will be available at 8pm.  Coffee, tea, cider and snacks will be
