February 27, 6:30 pm, Peacham Knitters and Puzzlers – Bring your knitting or other handwork for an evening of creativity and chatting. Or work on the current jigsaw puzzle.

February 28, 6:30 pm, Kingdom Clickers – Are you interested in photography and getting the most from your photos?  Kingdom Clickers is a local group of folks who gather to talk about just that.  Newcomers welcome!petesdragon

March 3, 9:15 am, Story Time – Stories and activities for the young at heart!

March 3, 10 am – noon — Coffee Hour — Join us for a cup of coffee or tea, a sweet or two and good conversation. Suitable for all ages!

March 3, 6:00 pm, Family Movie – “Pete’s Dragon” Enjoy some cocoa, popcorn and a great movie.  PJs optional.  All children must be accompanie5thbusinessd by an adult.  Rated PG.

March 4, 7:00 – 9:00 pm, Community Coffeehouse – Fifth Business returns to kickoff the evening and then at 8pm we open the mic to anyone interested in performing.

March 6, 7:00 pm, Board Meeting – Meetings are open to the public.

March 7, TOWN MEETING – The library will open after the conclusion of Town Meeting.

March 9, 7:00 pm, Green Burial   Do you try and make environmentally conscious choices in your life? Are you aware of the impact the resources we use have on our air, water, and soil? Are you concerned about protecting the planet for future generations? This educational program is hosted by end-of-life specialist and green burial educator, Michelle Acciavatti, wildlife biologist and green burial advocate Carl Anderson, and Suzanne Kelly Chair of the town of Rhinebeck Hybrid Cemetery and author of Greening Death.

March 14, 1:15, Aging Well in Peacham – Fall Prevention presentation by Peacham Fire Department.  Supported in part by the VT Dept of Health.

March 15, 5:30 pm, Friends of Peacham Library – Join FOPL in their support of the library!

March 16, 7:00pm, Readers’ Delight – Reading Lolita in Tehran by Azar Nafisi.  In April the book will be Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. Contact the library if you would like to borrow a copy of either book.

March 17, 10 am – noon — Coffee Hour — Join us for a cup of coffee or tea, a sweet or two and good conversation. Suitable for all ages!

March 18, 4:00pm, Cooking the Book — Announcing a NEW book mmagroup.  Everyone will select one (yup, just one) recipe from the same cookbook (yup, just one cookbook) to make and share. Our first cookbook will be Mma Ramotswe’s Cookbook by Stuart Brown. We will gather on Saturday, March 18 at 4pm to share our cooking and thoughts about the recipes. Stop by the library to select a recipe.   Don’t want to cook?  Talk to the librarian about how you can join the discussion.
