April 18, 1:15 pm, Tuesday Theatre – “Queen of Katwe” – Chess, the game of Kings, is not one you’d expect to see in the shanty towns of Uganda and yet, it is from here that a coach provides a rag-tag group of children the opportunity to learn chess and receive a meal. Out of his group comes a young woman who masters the game. Rated PG.
April 19, 9:00am, Build the Eiffel Tower – You’ve seen part of it at the library, now it’s your turn to help rebuild it from the ground up. Open to all, but children must be accompanied by an adult.

It’s flea market time again! We’re seeking good quality flea market items for the Friends of Peacham Library to sell at Peacham’s Annual Flea Market (9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 29, downstairs in the Peacham Congregational Church). No clothing or books, please.
