February 2, 9:15 am, Story Time – Stories, a craft, and a bit of runnindespicableg around.  Everyone is welcome.

February 2, 6:00 pm, Family Movie – “Despicable Me 3” – Enjoy some cocoa, popcorn and a great movie.  PJs optional.  All children must be accompanied by an adult. Rated PG.

February 3, 7:00 – 9:00 pm, Community Coffeehouse – Off The Cuff will kick off the evening.  This new group blends diverse muOffTheCuffsical interests into a vocal-oriented ensemble performing contemporary folk, acoustic blues, and all things Americana. At 8pm we’ll open the mike for all who wish to try their hand at performing.  Mark your calendars –March 3 Fifth Business returns to the Coffeehouse.

February 4, 3:00 – 5:30pm — Friendly Folk Music Jam Open to acoustic instrument players of any skill level interested in a relaxed, collegial atmosphere to share folk or old-time music. Come share your talent and a simple song (3 or 4 chords). Depending on participants’ feedback, we may try to jam regularly the 2nd Sunday afternoon of each month.

February 5, 7:00 pm, Board Meeting — Meetings are open to the public.

February 12, 6:30 pm, Peacham Knitters and Puzzlers — Bring your knitting or other handwork for an evening of creativity and chatting. Or work on the current jigsaw puzzle.

February 15, 7:00 pm, Readers’ Delight – Join us for a discussion of  poetry by C.P. Cavafy as mentioned in last month’s book Justine by Durrell.  Contact the library if you would like to obtain a copy.frozen

February 16, 6:45pm – Winter Carnival Family Movie – “Frozen” – What better way to start the carnival than with a wintery movie?  Free popcorn!

February 17, 11:00am until gone – Winter Carnival Chili, Cornbread and Hot Chocolate – We’ll be selling hot food / drinks at the Peacham Congregational Church with proceeds to benefit Peacham Library.

February 20, 1:15 pm, Tuesday Theatre – “Victoria and Abdul” – Queen victoriaVictoria (Judi Dench) strikes up an unlike friendship with an Indian clerk.  Rated PG-13.

February 21, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention – Beginners 10am – 10:45am, Advanced 11:00 – noon–sponsored by Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging and SASH.  Call 751-0431 to register.
