June 1, 6:00 pm, Family Movie: “Coco” Enjoy some cocoa, popcorn, and a great movie. PJs optional. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Rated PG.

June 4, 7:00 pm, Board Meeting Meetings are open to the public.

June 5, 10 am, Summer Reading Kick-Off with Mr. K (aka Kurt Valenta of Exordium) at the Peacham Elementary School. What causes sound, why music boxes work and how we recognize familiar sounds. A hands-on demonstration the phenomenon we call sound. 12:30 pm, Make your own 3 tone panpipe from invasive Japanese Knotweed.

June 5, 1:30 pm, AWIP At the monthly meeting of Aging Well in Peacham, Melissa Hough will discuss the East Peacham Schoolhouse Project. Guests will be invited to share personal stories about attending the one-room schoolhouse. Refreshments will be served.

June 6, 10:15 am, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention Sponsored by Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging and SASH. If you are new to Tai Chi, please come at 10:00 for an introduction.

June 10, 3:00-5:30 pm, Friendly Folk Music Jam Open to acoustic instrument players of any skill level interested in a relaxed, collegial atmosphere to share folk or old-time music. Come share your talent and a simple song (3 or 4 chords). Don’t play an instrument? Listeners are always welcome!

June 11, 6:30 pm, Peacham Knitters and Puzzlers Bring your knitting or other handwork for an evening of creativity and chatting. Or work on the current jigsaw puzzle while you chat.

June 14, THURSDAY 10:15 am, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention Sponsored by Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging and SASH. Continue your practice, building strength and balance in a quiet setting.

June 23, 10:00 am, Artists’ Reception Meet and greet the artists of the current show at the Gilmore Gallery.
