October 2, 1:30 pm, Aging Well in Peacham: The Humor and Laughter Edition – Laughter is…the best medicine, the music of the heart, an instant vacation, the fireworks of the soul, the shortest distance between two people and so much more. Bring your favorite joke or funny story to share. Write it down if you have to! Also – Flu shots will be available at A.W.I.P. at the library.  Be sure to bring your insurance card.

October 3, 10:00 am, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention – Sponsored by Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging and SASH. Continue your practice, building strength and balance in a quiet setting.

October 4, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Fall Foliage Day Book Sale – Friends of Peacham Library book sale.  Proceeds go toward programming and purchasing new materials for the collection.

October 4, 6:30 pm, “The Spitfire Grill” – Annual showing of movie filmed in Peacham.

October 5, 9:15 am, Story Time – Stories, a craft, and a bit of running around.  Everyone is welcome.

October 5, 6:00 pm, Family Movie: “Tangled: Before Ever After” – Enjoy some cocoa, popcorn, and a great movie.  PJs optional.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.  Running Time 55 minutes. Rated PG. 

October 6, 8:30 am, Collaborator’s Meeting – The Collaborator’s is a group who meet every other month to discuss / help organizations in Peacham.  Please join us as we help each other and the community.

October 13, 9:00 am – all day, Peacham Fall Fondo – A bicycle ride around Peacham.  Support the community and enjoy the ride.  Check out the internet cafe, water stop and pie sale – all happening at the library.

October 14, 3:00-5:30 pm, Friendly Folk Music Jam – Open to acoustic instrument players of any skill level interested in a relaxed, collegial atmosphere to share folk or old-time music.  Come share your talent and a simple song (3 or 4 chords).  Don’t play an instrument?  Listeners are always welcome!
