February 4, 7:00 pm, Library Board Meeting – Meetings are open to the public.

February 5, 1:30 pm,  Aging Well in Peacham – An hour of entertainment with all in one: Poet, Foliage Tour Bus Guide, Story Teller and beloved retired mail carrier! Allen Thresher, Sr. will share some of his poetry at this monthly get together. Everyone welcome.

February 6, 10:00 am, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention – Sponsored by Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging and SASH. Continue your practice, building strength and balance in a quiet setting.

February 7, 5:30 pm, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention: Beginner’s Class – Start at the beginning and learn about this ancient practice, building strength and balance in a quiet setting. Sponsored by Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging and SASH.

February 8, 10:00 am – noon, Coffee Hour – A chance to drink a cup of coffee or tea, enjoy a sweet or two, and chat with your friends and neighbors.  

February 9, 11:00 am, Chocolate Making Workshop – Come and try your hand at making some filled chocolates! We will provide the melts, the molds and the fillings. Go home with some sweets to share with your sweeties! Family friendly event.

February 10, 3:00 – 5:30 pm, Friendly Folk Music Jam – Open to acoustic instrument players of any skill level interested in a relaxed, collegial atmosphere to share folk or old-time music.  Come share your talent and a simple song (3 or 4 chords).  Don’t play an instrument?  Listeners are always welcome!

February 11, 6:30 pm, Peacham Knitters and Puzzlers – Bring your knitting or other handwork for an evening of creativity and chatting.  Or work on the current jigsaw puzzle while you chat.

February 12, 7:00 pm, Peacham Fire District #1: Annual Meeting – Please join the Peacham Fire District #1 Prudential Committee for our Annual Meeting. Under discussion: the 2019 budget and the water line replacement project. The regular monthly meeting will follow, and is also open to the public.

February 15, 7:00 pm, Winter Fun in Norway and Iceland”, Peacham resident Tim McKay will show photos and talk about his trip last March, including two weeks in southern and central Norway cross-country skiing and travelling through the fjords by car, boat, and train. He then spent four days in southern Iceland on the way home and will present a few of the geologic wonders of that very active landscape. This event will kick-off Peacham’s Winter Carnival weekend.
