This Week at the Library – March 4

March 4, 7:00 pm, Library Board Meeting – Meetings are open to the public.

March 5, 10:00 Town Meeting – The library will open when Town Meeting is over. 

March 6, 10:00 am, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention – Sponsored by Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging and SASH. Continue your practice, building strength and balance in a quiet setting.

March 7, 5:30 pm, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention: Beginner’s Class – Start at the beginning and learn about this ancient practice, building strength and balance in a quiet setting. Sponsored by Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging and SASH.

March 8, 10:00 am – noon, Coffee Hour – A chance to drink a cup of coffee or tea, enjoy a sweet or two, and chat with your friends and neighbors.  

March 10, 3:00 – 5:30 pm, Friendly Folk Music Jam – Open to acoustic instrument players of any skill level interested in a relaxed, collegial atmosphere to share folk or old-time music.  Come share your talent and a simple song (3 or 4 chords).  Don’t play an instrument?  Listeners are always welcome!

March 11, 6:30 pm, Peacham Knitters and Puzzlers – Bring your knitting or other handwork for an evening of creativity and chatting.  Or work on the current jigsaw puzzle while you chat.
