This Week at the Library – April 1

April 1, 7:00 pm, Library Board Meeting – Meetings are open to the public.

April 2, 1:30 pm,  Aging Well in Peacham – Join this monthly group for snacks, company and interesting topics. This month’s topic: “Living with Arthritis”.

April 3, 10:00 am, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention – Sponsored by Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging and SASH. Continue your practice, building strength and balance in a quiet setting

April  5, 10:00 am – noon, Coffee Hour – A chance to drink a cup of coffee or tea, enjoy a sweet or two, and chat with your friends and neighbors.

April 5, 6:00 pm, Family Movie: “The Last Unicorn” – Enjoy some cocoa, popcorn, and a great movie.  PJs optional.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.  Running Time 93 minutes. Rated G.  

April 6, 8:30 am, Collaborators Meeting – The Collaborators is a group who meet every other month to discuss / help organizations in Peacham.  Please join us as we help each other and the community.

April 6, 11:00 am, Story Time – Unicorn stories, a craft, and a bit of running around.  Everyone is welcome. 

April 6, 7:00 pm, Spring Poetry Night Coffee House – Share poems together and to celebrate National Poetry Month.  Bring favorite poems to share or some of your own.  Coffee and refreshments.

April 7, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Gallery Reception: Caledonia Central Supervisory Union Annual Student Art Exhibit – Featuring work created by PK – 12 students from Barnet, Danville, Peacham, Walden and Waterford.

April 8, 6:00 pm, Peacham Energy Committee – Check in and see what this new town committee is working on.

April 8, 6:30 pm, Peacham Knitters and Puzzlers -Bring your knitting or other handwork for an evening of creativity and chatting.  Or work on the current jigsaw puzzle while you chat.

April 9, 6:30 pm, Peacham Community Housing – This group is a non-profit, charitable organization, supporting and enabling community projects that contribute to Peacham’s quality of living.

April 9, 7:00 pm, Peacham Fire District #1 – The regular monthly meeting is open to the public.

April 14, 3:00 – 5:30 pm, Friendly Folk Music Jam – Open to acoustic instrument players of any skill level interested in a relaxed, collegial atmosphere to share folk or old-time music.  Come share your talent and a simple song (3 or 4 chords).  Don’t play an instrument?  Listeners are always welcome!
