Thanks to your generosity our sale room is full to bursting and needs to be organized for the 4th of July Book Sale. Please visit us then – and help empty out our shelves.

June 10, 6:00 pm, Peacham Energy Committee – Check in and see what this new town committee is working on.

June 10, 6:30 pm, Peacham Knitters and Puzzlers -Bring your knitting or other handwork for an evening of creativity and chatting.  Or work on the current jigsaw puzzle while you chat.

June 11, 6:30 pm, Peacham Community Housing – This group is a non-profit, charitable organization, supporting and enabling community projects that contribute to Peacham’s quality of living.

June 11, 7:00 pm, Peacham Fire District #1 – The regular monthly meeting is open to the public.

June 12, 10:00 am, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention -Sponsored by Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging and SASH. Continue your practice, building strength and balance in a quiet setting.

June 13, 5:30 pm, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention: Level 2 – Continue learning about this ancient practice, building strength and balance in a quiet setting. Sponsored by Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging and SASH.

June 13, 5:30 pm, Story Time at the Farmer’s Market – Join us at the Farmer’s Market this summer as the Library brings stories, and a craft to the Peacham Farmer’s Market.  Everyone is welcome. 

June 14, 10:00 am – noon, Coffee Hour – A chance to drink a cup of coffee or tea, enjoy a sweet or two, and chat with your friends and neighbors.

June 15, 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Gallery Reception: Quilts and Weaving – Featuring work created by Peacham Library Director, Susan Smolinsky.

June 18, 1:15 pm, Tuesday Theatre: “Tea With the Dames” – Dames Judi Dench, Eileen Atkins, Joan Plowright, and Maggie Smith get together for tea to reminisce and discuss their acting careers. 84 minutes. Unrated.

June 18, 7:00 pm, Death Cafe – At Death Cafe people gather to eat cake, drink tea and talk about death. According to many studies, talking about death helps you to be happier, healthier, kinder and many other positive character traits.

June 19, 10:00 am, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention – Sponsored by Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging and SASH. Continue your practice, building strength and balance in a quiet setting.

June 20, 9:30 – 11:00 am, Astronomical Art – Explore the universe of art with a choice of projects, exploring different mediums. All ages welcome.
