September 16, 7:00 pm, Library Board Meeting – Meetings are open to the public. 

September 17, 1:15 pm, Tuesday Theatre: “The Public” – A Cincinnati librarian helps a group of homeless people take refuge at the free public library in order to survive a brutal winter night. 122 minutes. Rated PG-13. NEW!Encore showing at 6 PM.

September 18, 10:00 am, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention -Sponsored by Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging and SASH. Continue your practice, building strength and balance in a quiet setting. All levels.

September 19, 7:00 pm, Readers’ Delight – Join us for a discussion of  “Sunday Philosophy Club” by Alexander McCall Smith.  Amateur sleuth Isabel Dalhousie is a philosopher and Editor of the Review of Applied Ethics, who also uses her training to solve unusual mysteries. Contact the library if you would like to borrow a copy of the book. 

September 20, 10:00 am – noon, Coffee Hour – A chance to drink a cup of coffee or tea, enjoy a sweet or two, and chat with your friends and neighbors.

September 21, 12:30 pm – 3 pm, Fall Fondo Pie Sale – Stop by the Peacham Library basement to grab a slice of a wide variety of homemade pies! Highlights last year were chocolate cream, buttermilk pie and key lime in addition to all sorts of fruit pies. Sale continues until pies are gone!

September 23, 6:30 pm, Peacham Knitters and Puzzlers – Bring your knitting or other handwork for an evening of creativity and chatting.  Or work on the current jigsaw puzzle while you chat.
