This Week at the Library – September 23

September 23, 6:30 pm, Peacham Knitters and Puzzlers – Bring your knitting or other handwork for an evening of creativity and chatting.  Or work on the current jigsaw puzzle while you chat.

September 25, 10:00 am, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention -Sponsored by Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging and SASH. Continue your practice, building strength and balance in a quiet setting. All levels.

September 26, 6:30 pm, Green Burials in Vermont – Green burial is a way of caring for the dead with minimal environmental impact that aids in the conservation of natural resources, reduction of carbon emissions, protection of worker health, and the restoration and/or preservation of habitat. Find out more at this presentation.

September 27, 10:00 am – noon, Coffee Hour – A chance to drink a cup of coffee or tea, enjoy a sweet or two, and chat with your friends and neighbors.

October 1, 1:30 pm, Aging Well in Peacham: “Tim McKay: Peacham Child Care Center” – Enjoy an afternoon at the library, with food, fun and socializing with this monthly group.

October 3, 10:00 am – 3 pm , Fall Foliage Book Sale – Stop by and find a treasure. Buy a book and support the library!

October 4, 6:00 pm, Family Movie – Enjoy some lemonade, popcorn, and a great movie.  PJs optional.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.  

October 5, 8:30 am, Collaborator’s Meeting – The Collaborator’s is a group who meet every other month to discuss / help organizations in Peacham.  Please join us as we help each other and the community.

October 5, 11:00 am, Drag Queen Story Time – Vermont’s own Emoji Nightmare and Nikki Champagne are coming to Peacham Library!  Join us for a program of stories, songs, and a craft celebrating inclusivity.  This program for all ages will be held in the community room.
