March 2, 7:00 pm, Library Board Meeting – Meetings are open to the public.
March 3, TOWN MEETING – Please support the Library’s request for an appropriation from the town. Our public library, free and open to all who enter, is always in the top percentile in terms of usage of our programs and services per capita compared to other libraries throughout the state. By contrast, we are in a very low percentile when looking at the amount of local appropriation we receive from the town. We ask the voters of Peacham to consider the library’s central place in our community, both as a vital utility and as a place for pure enjoyment. This increase in our appropriation amounts to an investment on the part of the voters of Peacham, and will allow us to sustain and grow our services now and into the future. Read our full request letter here.
