Due to the increasing numbers of COVID cases in the county and the high transmission rate reported by the CDC, we’d like to remind everyone about the importance of taking the precaution of wearing a mask when entering the library.

We are asking everyone who enters the building to wear a mask. The only exception is for children under 2.
This policy will allow continued use of the Library as a community meeting place and keep community members as safe as possible at this time.
If you have a medical or other exemption, please contact us, so we can work with you to provide a reasonable accommodation that will allow you to access our services and programs. In the case of meetings or classes, please contact the hosting organization to provide accommodation.
Those who cannot wear a mask, can take advantage of our porchside pick up, email or telephone reference and readers’ advisory services, and the Zoom option provided for many programs and meetings.
This is a building wide policy, so it affects anyone who uses the Community Room and all the attendees at their event.
This policy will ease when the CDC indicates the transmission rate in Caledonia County is at a moderate level (https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#county-view) and/or the active cases per million in the county are less than 3,000 (according to Johns Hopkins University): https://dfr.vermont.gov/about-us/covid-19/modeling/covid-19-modeling-graphics).
