Digital Collection Changes

Libby 

Having a hard time logging into Libby? Your library account may be expired. Accounts expire every two years. This gives us a chance to ask if your contact information needs updating. If you use our online services, you will find that you are no longer able to log in. Send us a quick email or phone call and we will be happy to renew your account.

Kanopy 

Starting June 1st, Kanopy user will have 15 tickets per month to use. 

Tickets are used to play videos on Kanopy. Each month, you receive a set number of tickets Your tickets reset on the first day of the month, and unused tickets don’t roll over to the next month.

You can see your remaining tickets for the month in the top-right corner of the homepage. As you browse for titles, you’ll see the number of tickets required to watch each title and how long you have to watch it.

The log in procedure for Kanopy will be changing. When you need to log in, you will now use the same credentials as Libby access, You will need your full 11 digit library account number (P312000XXXX) and your password. Contact the library if you need any assistance.

For patrons who use Universal Class, please be aware that the state subscription will be ending on Aug. 31, 2024, at which point you will no longer be able to use the site. We recommend shifting over to our new resources, Gale Presents: Udemy. Udemy is an online learning platform with 20,000 video courses on a huge range of topics: business, coding, music, cooking, and more! It offers well-structured video courses and assignments that you can complete at your own pace and in whatever order you want. You can access Udemy by  going to Vermont Online Library.
