Computers

Peacham Library has four computers for public use.  Each computer has the following software loaded for patron use:

    Adobe Reader
    MS Word 2003
    MS Excel 2003
    MS Power Point 2003
    MS Access 2003
    MS Internet Explorer
    Overdrive Media Console (for downloading audio books from Listen Up!Vermont)
    Scratch (a programming language for kids and others)
Each computer also has, under Favorites, links to 
    Heritage Quest  databases (no password needed when used from a library computer)
    Listen Up! Vermont (for downloading audio books and eBooks)
    Peacham Library’s webpage
    Peacham Library’s card catalog (username – Peacham, no password needed)
    Vermont Online Library  databases (no password needed when used from a library computer)

In addition to the four public access computers, we have a dedicated computer for our card catalog.

We also have free wireless access.  You do not need a password to access the internet, just select Peacham Library’s network from your computer.  Can’t get in while we’re open?  Then use the wireless from our parking lot 24/7!
