October 22, 6:30 pm, Peacham Knitters and Puzzlers – Bring your knitting or other handwork for an evening of creativity and chatting.  Or work on the current jigsaw puzzle while you chat.

genealogy treeOctober 23, 7:00 pm, Genetic Genealogy with Alana Considine – Genetic genealogy takes DNA testing beyond paternity tests to uncover connections to individuals and ethnic groups. You’re thinking of testing, but should you choose Ancestry, 23andMe, Family Tree DNA, My Heritage or one of the many companies new on the scene? Already tested? How do you get the most from your results? Alana will discuss the differences between DNA testing companies, how to interpret results, and just enough genetics to make sense of it all. She will also delve into the ethical issues of genealogical genetic testing.

October 24, 10:00 am, Tai Chi for Fall Prevention – Sponsored by Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging and SASH. Continue your practice, building strength and balance in a quiet setting.

October 26, 10:00 am – noon, Coffee Hour – A chance to drink a cup of coffee or tea, enjoy a sweet or two, and chat with your friends and neighbors.

November 2, 9:15 am, Story Time – Stories, a craft, and a bit of running around.  Everyone is welcome.

November 2, 6:00 pm, Family Movie: “Early Man” – Enjoy some cocoa, popcorn, and a great movie.  PJs optional.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.  Running Time 89 minutes. Rated PG. 

November 3, 11:00 am, Story Time – Stories, a craft, and a bit of running around.  Everyone is welcome. (Repeat of Friday’s program)
